Rankings based on this seasons performance. Doesn't reflect value/age at all. Will release the top 8 PGs and top 8 SGs after I get enough votes for this article.
Centers
1. A.J. Hammons C 26 7'0'' 280 B+ A- D A- A C
A.J. Hammons C 60 33.6 28.2 14.3 1.4 1.5 2.6 1.4 .466 .855 .409
Arguably the best player in the league. Doesn't have a weakness in his game. Hell he's even shooting above 40% from three at Center. Utah needs to get this man a ring
2. Andre Drummond C 25 6'11'' 275 A D+ C- B+ A- B
Andre Drummond C 59 35.5 17.4 13.1 2.5 0.8 4.0 1.3 .436 .554 .000
Df Reb Pot
Toss up at #2 between Drummond and Shaq. I'll take the rebounds and blocks and go with Drummond here. Drummond is only 25 and has B potential so he while I doubt he will ever overtake Hammons, he could solidfy being the second best center in UOSL.
3. Shaquille Cleare C 27 6'10'' 290 A- D+ C- A- A C
Shaquille Cleare C 56 33.9 19.2 11.9 2.3 0.4 3.4 1.9 .478 .613 .000
Shaq is a monster and head what I believe is the best frontcourt in the UOSL. Chis Paul just isn't getting it done at the Point, could be why the 76ers aren't getting it done.
4. Dwight Howard C 35 6'11'' 275 A- D D A+ A D
Dwight Howard C 65 36.0 19.4 13.6 2.0 1.0 2.3 1.7 .446 .536 .000
Dwight Howard is old, but this isn't about value. You can't deny his numbers. If you wanted to win a championship this year you'd have to take a look at Dwight.
5.Johnny O'Bryant C 27 6'10'' 260 A- D D A- A C
Johnny O'Bryant C 58 34.3 17.9 13.2 1.4 0.9 1.9 2.0 .453 .522 .000
Another Cavalier cracks the list. He's a younger version of Dwight pretty much. If he can start blocking shots at a higher rate he will make his way up the list.
Power-fowards
1. Jabari Parker PF 24 6'9'' 247 B+ C+ B- A- B B
Jabari Parker PF 59 37.6 21.6 10.2 3.9 1.4 2.5 2.2 .462 .704 .370
Parker is a young stud. Does everything well and will continue to improve. His passing and amazing defense gives him the edge over the others in the group.
2. Perry Jones PF 28 6'11'' 243 A C+ C- A- A- C
Perry Jones PF 56 37.4 27.0 11.4 3.2 1.3 0.6 1.6 .442 .780 .478
Perry is a scoring machine and he doesn't slack on the glass either. Absolute monster at PF. Gave the edge to Parker because he is more unique, but Perry could be a #1 as well.
3. Blake Griffin PF 31 6'10'' 263 A- C- C A- A- C
Blake Griffin PF 46 35.5 27.0 11.8 2.8 0.5 0.8 1.6 .458 .716 .000
Blake is really old, but nobody can stop him from attacking the basket. Scores at the same rate as Perry Jones but doesn't put up the defensive numbers. Blake should remain a star in the league for a couple more years.
4. Patric Young PF 27 6'9'' 240 A D+ C- B+ A- C
Patric Young PF 59 35.2 19.6 11.9 1.9 0.6 1.8 1.3 .459 .578 .000
Young is a best. Could use some work on his outside game and free throw shooting but he's one of the best PFs in the league. Hopefully he can make some strides in handling/shooting the ball.
5. Derrick Favors PF 30 6'10'' 238 B+ C- C A A- D
Derrick Favors PF 55 34.6 22.2 13.0 1.9 0.7 1.7 1.8 .442 .650 .000
Favors is 30, but he gets it done. Well rounded player who gives the Bucks one of the better PFs in the league. Hopefully he doesn't decline at a rapid rate or his contract could be a big burden.
Small-forwards
1. Shabazz Muhammad SF 25 6'7'' 220 A- A- C A- B+ B
Shabazz Muhammad SF 59 38.1 25.6 9.0 3.5 2.0 0.2 2.0 .477 .857 .452
The prophet is young and is my favorite SF in the league. A lethal scorer and tremendous defender. The scary thing is he still has the potential to get better.
2. Andrew Wiggins SF 21 6'9'' 235 A- C+ C A- C+ B
Andrew Wiggins SF 53 36.3 21.6 8.6 2.4 1.8 1.9 1.4 .480 .729 .351
I believe Wiggins will overtake the Prophet as the best small forward in the league in two seasons. He is hands down the best defender at SF in the league. The sky is the limit for Wiggins.
3. Quincy Miller SF 27 6'10'' 230 A- B+ B A- C+ C
Quincy Miller SF 54 38.0 21.5 7.6 4.9 2.1 1.2 2.4 .479 .836 .396
Quincy shoots a high percentage in Portland's high pace offense. He has a great blend of defense as well. His long range game could use some work, but Quincy is a nice wing player for Kasey Hill to feed.
4. Harrison Barnes SF 28 6'9'' 220 A- A- C A- C+ C
Harrison Barnes SF 58 35.8 23.7 7.7 3.1 1.0 1.1 2.0 .497 .860 .481
Barnes is lights out this season. The Thunder may have been foolish to let this gem go. Barnes is a free agent and could attract a ton of interest if he tests the market.
5. Josh Smith SF 34 6'9'' 225 B+ C C+ A+ B D
Josh Smith SF 56 38.3 13.8 9.2 3.8 1.3 2.4 2.3 .469 .758 .351
The aging Smith makes the list soley to his great rebounding and more importantly defense. He is the best defending SF aside from Wiggins in the league. Still shoots the ball pretty well too.
