It is crazy to see the guys on that once called "Pistons Dynasty" fall off to fast. Sure, most knew it wasn't a dynasty and age comes into play, but dayum.

dumars has been horrible in all due respect. that extension he gave rip was smh worthy. Those contracts he signed ben gordon/villanueva to were horrible.
They were set up well had they kept their flexibility.

I agree 100% If not for that fluke season they made that run, he probabaly would have been fired by now.

That's not true. They beat some Pacers teams and Nets teams that were very good.
2004 wasn't a fluke. Once upon a time Chauncy Billups was a Piston and playing like a top 10 player, Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince weren't bitches, Rasheed Wallace was playing great ball and Ben Wallace wasn't 75 years old.

That's not true. They beat some Pacers teams and Nets teams that were very good. 2004 wasn't a fluke. Once upon a time Chauncy Billups was a Piston and playing like a top 10 player, Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince weren't bitches, Rasheed Wallace was playing great ball and Ben Wallace wasn't 75 years old. It was kind of a fluke. When you hit halfcourt shots to tie a game at the end of regulation. There's some fluke involved. |

And Dumars should be fired. I've been saying that for a couple years now. They have the worst situation in the league by FAR. Most horrible teams at least have nice young players to look forward to. We don't have shit. Stuckey sucks and Monroe can't get off of the bench.
My office is like a quarter of a mile away from The Palace and I have absolutely no desire to go watch them play uninspired, hopeless, shitty basketball.
