I think people are past comparing the two. Lebron is player everyone would pick to have in the regular season. Kobe is the player everyone would pick to have in the playoffs.

It's never ending, but i'd even agree Lebron has been the best player the last couple years, without a doubt. and I'm a laker fan. As far as the better career, and in terms of greatness all time. Kobe wins that argument without a doubt.

Kobe had pretty fucking high scoring averages over the past few years with that great cast, only a couple points less than Lebron. And don't forget the 3 point average or the fact that Kobe plays astronomically better defense.
Am I trying to convince a Laker fan that Kobe is better than Lebron?

I watch Kobe play every day. I'm assuming you only watch him in the big games, since that's when he just turns it up to this ungodly gear. I guess that's all that matters when you think of it, but over the course of the season and from game to game. Lebron has been better.

Lebron has come up short in countless huge games. He doesn't have that "Jordan" mental aspect that Kobe CLEARLY has.
