I don't understand why you would ever trade a top 3 or top 5 talent, none of those players will ever be as good as lebron.
Whjy wouldnt you trade the pieces around him first?

Meh it was time to rebuild. I didn't pick this team via creation draft, James did. Did I fuck my future a bit with the EG move sure? But I am not going to let it sidetrack my future plans.
I tried and tried to work out a deal with Traves to get my pick back I am not that stupid. He wasn't even trying to work out a deal since he had the leverage.

Hate all you want, but after I realized I wasn't going to get value from the Grizz, I had to get the best deal possible. I am not going to fuck up my entire vision and long term plans of the team because I couldn't get my first. This season is a wash, I will move on from it.
Also, good luck yourself giving Traves Deron if and when the offseason comes. Hopefully he doesn't lowball you quite a much on your picks

ehh, Cavs were already 2nd projected with Bron, not like that was gonna improve much, the season was lost, get as much value as possible for Bron, ignore the pick at this point
