Phil Hughes is playing like shit this year. I was getting my hopes up when AJ came out pretty strong so far, but the rest of the rotation is a dumpster fire.

Hopefully Hughes gets it together and Nova stays competitive... Nova looks good the first time through the order but his average against goes up each time he gets through the lineup.

Set up, Joba, relief, Soriano, & closer, Rivera are a dirty combination for the late innings tho. Games with a lead through 6+ should be shut down from there on.

I love that Joba got in better shape and seems to have his head on straight so far. Soriano is the one I am worried about. He has closer type talent, but the more research I have done, the more I fear about him being a headcase. Case in point: How he handled ruining that CC game awhile back. |
