As far as pitching they are 6th in quality starts. Pineda is leading Seatle in all the major pitching categories besides stirke outs. That is great for a rookie for sure. Its obvious where they lack.. run production. lol no kidding

Hes giving quality starts for the M's not leaving before the 6th inning in any of his outings. Loss to the Rangers early in the season but only by one. The M's need some more scoring tho. all his wins are in close games, low scoring games. I think they r limiting his pitches cuz he's still relatively young and don't want to push things. And M's have like the worst offense, so for him and Felix to be killing the way they do, goes to show how good of pitchers they r. I have a feeling they won't stay M's for very long though. Yea they seem to be on the pirates level where once a player gets good they shop him. I question Pineda's starts only because he is a rookie and possibly doing well because hitters have not seen him before. Would be interested in seeing a stat for batting average against each time through the line up. Not trying to knock him jut interested in it.
