Sucks that those guys never drew a damn dime for the company. I read somewhere that ratings sucked huge balls when those guys were in the main event.

Even though I had stopped watching at that point, watching it gives me chills. Yeah, seriously. It's fucked up. I loved Guerrero and Benoit throughout their careers - I used to watch WCW when they were there as I didn't have the channels to watch WWF back in the day... then when we got WWF all of a sudden they moved over lol. Good timing. That moment still gives me chills now. RIP both of them. |

They wrestled in their prime in an era when guys like Rock/Austin dominated and they ended up being mid-carders. When Rock/Austin left and they finally got their push, a lot of fans had already left anyway. Despite that, I think true wrestling fans all appreciate what Eddie and Benoit did in ring. Pure wrestlers. Eddie was fun on the mic too. |

Nothing beats this promo, ever. The Rock/Austin WM was fucking insane. I can't remember which WM or whether they wrestled more than once, but it was one of the earlier ones when Rock was a major heel. Then the one towards the end of their careers was also special. Apparently Rock told Austin at the end that he loved him lol. How homo. |
