I know I know, you all missed me. I had to do it though. I needed to soul search. I had to find that passion to dominate again. There were times that I felt I simply wasn't going to make it. My attention to the league wavered as helplessly tried to piece my franchise back together. The mere thought of the "mighty" Boston Celtics being nothing without [he who shall not be named] resulted in many sleepless nights.
Then I saw the light. Yes, the light coming all the way from Phoenix, Arizona. The light told me that this place felt weird without me on top of y'all, missionary raw doggin' it. The light told me that I need to shut up any of the doubters that I have accumulated over these down years. The light told me that I should not take the losing to a perennial loser like the Toronto Raptors lightly. Ah yes, the light has given me just what I needed, and his name is Kobe Bryant. Kobe is the fire that I thought has gone into the depths of the sim league underworld. He's itching and I'm itching and we need something to scratch our itches so we can appease ourselves. What better to relieve yourself with than another championship ring?
So alas my dear peasants, the GOAT is back to re-claim his throne. What's it been, 7 seasons of sitting back? The hiatus has been tough to bear but Bryant and myself are not trippin'. We do have 8 championship rings between us after all.
My deepest apologies to the Eastern Conference, as only 1 team has been able to capitalize while the Boston Celtics were slowly but surely rebuilding. It's going to be very fun using that "your reign on top was shorter than leprechauns" line against the unoriginal creator himself.
