i usually help people get under the hc also without compensation if it's reasonable. I don't get where this idea where you have to give up picks comes from

Are you seriously dense, GM's like Footy and others needed to give up draft picks to get under the hard cap and were far less over the hardcap than you.

i guess it's karma. I help people all the time free of charge so i get the same in return...get over it. keep bringing up other trades. It happens for free more often than not.

idk what his situation is. expirings for expirings. you will get a deal to get under hc for free most of the time...If you're trying to unload multi-year contracts it gets complicated...

He was less than a million over the hardcap and needed to give up a future first and he didn't give up a multi-year contract it was expirings for expirings.

That happens less often than this. And i know he lives in australia so he must have had time difficulties when trying to deal so that might have factored into it also...

He wasn't desperate, sure people get under for free and other times you need to pay up to get under...in your situation you should have paid up.

plus his team was good so his first was prolly shitty at the time which made him more willing to trade it just to get a deal done...
