Nets receive: C Greg Oden 1 Vet FA
Thunder receive: PF Amir Johnson SF Thaddeus Young (after Bulls RC)
I think it works with the vet FA. I agree. Trading Oden for Amir is pretty much a wash. I'll just move I-Blocka to center and slot Amir into either PF/SF where he dominates defensively. So getting Thad is pretty much gravy. Now I have Aminu, Wes, Thad at SF. Going to need to trade one most likely. Good deal Nets!

agree
I think Oden can be beastly here soon so I wanted him. I'm much better defensively then I was before now. I really liked amir johnson but he wasn't playing on my team so not a huge loss but i think he'll be a player for a while

I like this for the nets. Oden is good and Thunder didn't really need another boom/bust SF

Well, you picked him early. In relation to where he was picked, he's not that good. But in relation to this trade, he is.

Amir put up some pretty big numbers in the beginning of the year before he got buried down the depth chart. he'll be good in okc......and at least now okc has young and aminu and one of them has to work out, right?

192 Amir Johnson PF 28 28.2 7.5 9.1 1.3 0.8 2.1 1.3 .336 .680 .000 252 Greg Oden C 68 33.1 13.4 10.2 2.1 0.7 2.9 2.0 .420 .676 .000
Very little difference. Amir is more raw offensively, but I wanted him for his defense and boarding.

i detract my statement and opinion on this trade completely. Thad is good? holy shit. Like this for thunder. smh. first rose, now this. Although this isn't as bad. Camping Thad could have made him good also.

I don't like this trade bruh. Thad Young far exceeds the difference between oden and amir.

Lets break these trades down footy styles...
Nets give up: Derrick Rose Nets 2016 1st Corey Maggette Wally Szcerbiak Gilbert Arenas Charlie Bell Martell Webster
Nets Recieve: Kings 3 First Rounders Rodney Stuckey Aaron Brooks Glen Davis 4 Bull 2nd rounders Greg Oden
So essentially, the nets have traded Derrick Rose, 2016 first and Gilbert Arenas for 3 firsts, 4 2nds, Greg Oden and wishy washy other players....not entirely horrible i guess but if those firsts end up horrible well than you're stuffed
