you are not allowed to go over, if you go over via signing, you lose 400 posts, if you go over via trade, both involved teams lose 200 posts
If you go over during the offseason, due to the yearly contract change, you lose your best player that gets you under the Hardcap for free. Any signing, or Draft pick which puts you over WILL be voided, as will any trade, though it may take a sim.

what? that yearly increase penalty is crazy... just give people the 48 hours for that the new Hard cap is more than double the softcap, think of it this way, if BBS's hard cap ratio was the same as this one, you would have to be at more than 97,000,000 to be over it

If you go over during the offseason, due to the yearly contract change, you lose your best player, for free. not sure if serious the Max first year for a rookie Deal is 10,500,000, with the New HC you would be able to have 8 players on the first year of a rookie Deal
