As far as Toyota and Nissan making better cars than Ford, it is hard to believe that is not true.
If you asked anyone if they would rather have a Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Honda Accord or a Ford Focus... I'm pretty positive the vast majority would choose a Camry, Altima, or Accord over the Focus.

I'm sure the Lexus and Audi Hatchbacks are luxurious, and decent looking cars. However, you didn't buy a Lexus or an Audi.... you bought a Ford Focus

All a hatchback means is there is cargo space behind the back seats that is accessible through a tailgate or the like. Nissan and Toyota's are far better cars than Fords. Hatchbacks can look nice like the ones that you are using in your examples (Volkswagen GTIs, Volvo C30's, Audi A3s) but the Ford Focus Hatchback is a far cry from the examples that you listed. I dont have a vendetta against hatchbacks but I do hate ugly cars and this below is an ugly looking car to me. FYI, the above statement is an opinion...hope your familiar with them.

This isn't a discussion about someone's preference which you continously keep bringing up. I don't care you'd rather drive a Camry, Altima, or an Accord over a Ford Focus, I really don't but I am going by hard cold facts that Ford cars hold value much better than Toyota or Nissan's plain simple fact that you can Google for yourself.

Yes I am familiar with opinions, I am also familiar with sarcastic tones which there is zero need for. I have yet to argue with anyone's opinon on the looks of the car, anyone can like what they want I really don't give a fuck.

I listed examples of hatchbacks that are selling incredibly well in the American market, something that Blu tried to dispute. It has nothing to do which look nicer and which don't. The fact is the 2012 Ford Focus is a totally remodeled car and is nothing like the Focus of previous years. I could afford a GTI, a C30 or an Audi A3 but I chose the Ford Focus based on 5 things 1)Price 2)Quality 3)Reviews 4)I love the look of the car 5)Extremely fun to drive until the release of the new Focus, I would never touch a Ford. The facts are there, the reviews are there, everyone who test drives this car loves it. I love it and that's really all that matter and no Nissan and Toyota's are not better quality cars then Fords, sure, they make look nicer but check J&D Power Associates Ford>>>> Both

I am getting leather seating sport bucket seats, Sports Suspension, Power Moonroof, 18" Inch Wheels, Rear Camera for parking, rain sensing wipers, Winter package which comes with heated seats.
You get those options on a Volvo or an Audi and you're looking at 35K+ hence my decision as wlel.

and it's odd that you like the Volvo C30 and not the new 2012 Focus. The focus skeletal model was based off the C1 base model the same one used by the C30 and the Mazda Speed so you know it's top notch quality.

Never said I liked it.. to be honest I just looked the three that you mentioned up and I am not a fan of any. I'm sure they are appealing to some but not myself.
Im sure it helps in Europe to have a compact car due to parking & narrow roads.
