Computer Science.
Searching for jobs and getting shat on because of my GPA. That's what I get for transferring and not giving my best effort.

What was your GPA if you don't mind me askin 2.7 right now. Been at this school the last 3 semesters (was 3.3 at my previous school, so I screwed myself transfering and slacking off). Most companies have a cut off of 3.0 for CSE majors. Makes it fucking hard to break through, unless I literally lose no points on anything else i do this semester in any class.

My brother had like a 2.5 GPA and was a biology major...he didn't finish his degree though. I asked what he would have done if he graduated with that GPA and he said work for the state or something. My GPA is a little above a 3.3 right now, with like a 3.1 science GPA. UK Pharmacy school has an average acceptance GPA of 3-3.4, and a PCAT of 75. Another one I'm looking at if I don't get in to UK is Appalachian, GPA average of 3.1...and a whopping 52 average on the PCAT.

More power to you going through all that pharmacy schooling, it takes some focus to stay on that path. Least you are set when it's all done.

Yeah, I just hope I don't have to go out of state for pharmacy school, cause then tuition is out the ass. I want to hover around a 3.3 until I graduate, which means I need to do better than a C+ in Organic Chemistry II, and it's currently kicking my ass.
